About Us...
El Camino Homeless Organization (ECHO) provides meal, shelter and support services to the homeless and hungry of northern San Luis Obispo County. As a nonprofit, we are volunteer-based and run by a coalition of churches, service organizations and individuals. If people have a passion for any service to the needy in this area, ECHO has a place for them here. Our family atmosphere and selfless dedication of volunteers has been a refuge for many in their times of need. We operate 365 days of the year providing a warm meal and a place to sleep for those who need a helping hand. ECHO’s vision is to provide access to services that address the root causes of homelessness and to help the homeless find a level of self-sufficiency that is appropriate to each individual.
