ECHO Paso Robles

With a unique residency program, ECHO provides case management services to assist residents in securing a job and finding permanent and sustainable housing within three months of entering the shelter program.  While enrolled in the program, residents learn life skills for employment, budgeting, healthier habits and more.  The goal and the result of this practical support is the empowerment of residents to move in a positive direction while assisting them in acquiring the skills and services they need to become self-sustaining, including secure housing.

Through our housing placement program, individuals and families are directed to resources that will help them find housing within three months of their arrival at ECHO.

ECHO provides as many as 150 daily meals to residents and members of our community that might otherwise go without a hot meal.

• 50 volunteer teams provide daily meals

• Breakfast and lunch is provided for those that stay at the shelter

• ECHO serves OVER 100,000 meals annually

Providing an atmosphere where children can thrive while staying at ECHO is paramount to our program.  Activites include:

• Raise A Reader Program

• Music Appreciation

• Nutrition Education

• Boys & Girls Club Summer Camps

• Clothing Bus

• Medical & Dental Health Screening

Operating Dates: November 1, 2025 – March 31, 2026
The El Camino Homeless Organization (ECHO) will activate its weather-based warming shelter when:

• There is a 50% or higher chance of rain, and/or

• Temperatures are forecasted to drop 38°F or below.

When activated, ECHO will provide overnight shelter, meals, and access to supportive services at our Paso Robles location.

Every WEDNESDAY ECHO opens our Laundry Mat for outreach clients to do laundry.

ECHO also operates a shower program that provides hot showers to anyone in need.  ECHO supplies the homeless population all the necessary toiletries and offers access to clothing, shoes, blankets, sleeping bags and school supplies for children.
